MNCS Accredited Registrant
As an MNCS Accredited Registrant, I meet the high standards for safety and ethical practice set by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society.
Hi, I'm Caroline, founder of Hourglass Therapy. I am a fully qualified counsellor, hypnotherapist and supervisor. I am a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), the National Hypnotherapy Society and a Mental Health First Aider. I provide online and telephone counselling throughout the UK as well as in-person and walk and talk therapy in the Bristol area.
I am an integrative therapist, which means I adapt my skills and knowledge to suit your individual needs. I offer a safe, compassionate, non-judgemental space where we can work together to help you move past the issues that stand in the way of your true potential.
Whether you are an individual or a couple, I work with a wide range of life challenges, including eating disorders, relationship difficulties and neurodivergent wellbeing. I have a particular interest in supporting Highly Sensitive People (HSPs), who often find that a tailored, attuned approach makes a real difference. I am also trained in hypnotherapy, which I draw on where it may enhance the therapeutic process. In addition to my client work, I offer counselling supervision for fellow practitioners.
I am a mum of twins and have worked in both the private and public sectors across a range of industries, including media, education, the police, tech and legal professions. I find drawing on these varied life and professional experiences particularly beneficial in my client work.
I believe that human connection and a deep working relationship with my clients leads to positive outcomes. Working within an ethical framework of good practice, you are the focus — sessions are led by you, and you set the pace.
"I will sit with you, guide you and empower you by providing the essential tools you need throughout your counselling journey."
