What Is Counselling?

Counselling is a talking therapy that provides a confidential space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours with a trained professional. It can help you gain clarity, develop coping strategies and work through challenges that may feel overwhelming.

Whether you're dealing with a specific issue or simply feel that something isn't right, counselling offers the support and tools to help you move forward at your own pace.

An Integrative Approach

As an integrative therapist, Caroline adapts her skills and knowledge to suit your individual needs. This means drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches to find what works best for you, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method.

Sessions are led by you, and you set the pace. Caroline believes that human connection and a deep working relationship leads to positive outcomes, working within an ethical framework of good practice where you are always the focus.

What to Expect

Your first session is an opportunity to meet, share what has brought you to therapy, and begin building a trusting relationship. There is no pressure to share more than you're comfortable with.

Ongoing sessions are typically 50 minutes for individuals and 60 minutes for couples. Together, we'll work at a pace that feels right for you, exploring patterns, building understanding and developing strategies for lasting change.
